Che cos'è e come si usa un feed?

I feeds servono per informare gli utenti ogni volta che una nuova notizia (home, news o features) verrà pubblicata sul nostro sito. Per iscriversi a questo servizio basta cliccare il bottone feed e copiare nel proprio lettore di feeds l'URL della pagina che si apre. Una volta copiato l'URL, ogni nuova news o features pubblicata sul sito verrà inoltrata automaticamente a chi ha sottoscritto il feed. Il lettore può essere un browser come Firefox, Safari, Explorer ecc., oppure il programma che si usa normalmente per la posta come Mail, Outlook Express, Thunderbird.
Si possono usare anche software dedicati, molti sono gratuiti, come Google Reader, Netnewswire (per Mac), NewzCrawler (per Windows).
